Great Barrier Reef The Great Barrier Reef is the biggest coral reef in the world. It is made up of over 2,900 reefs and 900 islands, stretches over 2,600 km and covers and area of 344,400 km.	Uluru (Ayers Rock) Uluru (Ayers Rock) is a monolith of grey-red arkose. It has a circumference of 8.85 km and rises 347 m over its surrounding area. Uluru is almost in the centre of the Australian continent.	Coffee Australians love coffee. All up they drink approx. 1 billion cups of coffee outside the home every year. Around half of these are cappuccinos.
